Turn On Auto-Renewal
If you purchased a monthly or yearly subscription with a credit card, you can turn on auto-renewal.

At the start of each billing month or year, the system automatically renews all products in your subscription and processes the renewal amount on your primary credit card.
- Visit manage.techsmith.com and sign in to your TechSmith account.
- (If you have multiple subscriptions) On the Subscriptions page, select the subscription for which you would like to turn on auto-renewal.
- In the Renewal section, click View auto-renewal terms.
- Review the following:
- Number of products that will be auto-renewed (all products for which you did not cancel renewal).
- Renewal date — date when the new billing term begins and auto-renewal amount is processed.
- Forecasted amount — approximate auto-renewal amount. The final amount may differ slightly.

- Click Turn on auto-renewal.
- This event is saved in subscription history.
- Email notification is sent to your shipping email address.
- 30 days before the auto-renewal date, you receive an email reminder at your shipping email address.

Also, the option to renew the subscription early appears on the subscription management portal. See (Multi-Seat Subscriptions) Early Renewal. - If you do not renew the subscription early, on the renewal date, the system automatically renews your subscription and processes the renewal amount on your primary credit card. At your billing email address, you receive an email notification with order details.

If the auto-renewal payment fails, you receive an email at your billing email address. Also, on the subscription management portal, you can view a hint about an unpaid invoice. Please resolve the issue with the credit card (or, add a new card), and then try to pay the invoice. See (Multi-Seat Subscriptions) View and Pay My Invoices.
